Founder & Builder
Michael Shane, Founder & Builder. The October 10, 2025 crypto crash changed how Michael saw trading. He watched emotion and slow information wipe people out, while the big firms had the data to move first. So he set out to build a system that takes the emotion out of trading and gives regular traders a fair shot against the billion-dollar firms. That work became Pickled Lizard.
Michael brings over 23 years in construction, project management, marketing, and design, and he's been deep in crypto and blockchain the whole way. He's 2nd Vice President of the Brantford Home Builders' Association (BHBA) and sits on the board of PLAY (Physical Lifestyles of Autistic Youth).

Eric Danso
CISO
Eric Danso is CISO of Pickled Lizard, the distributed quantitative intelligence network. He is responsible for the security of the platform's AI-driven trading and research infrastructure, and for protecting participant data and market systems.
His background is in cybersecurity, spanning vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, AI-driven threat intelligence, cloud and network security, and IT risk and compliance. At Pickled Lizard, he applies that discipline to a live trading environment: hardening the systems that test and run AI-assisted quantitative strategies, and keeping platform integrity as the network scales.
With both security expertise and hands-on stock trading experience, Eric understands how markets behave and how the systems watching them must be defended.
